This year will mark the fourth anniversary of the Infinite Scholars Program in Detroit hosted by City Council President Brenda Jones. Over the past 16 years, the national program has helped more than 100,000 students receive more than $1 billion in college scholarships.
Council President Jones believes it is vital that Detroit continue to participate in this effort this year, despite the Coronavirus pandemic. Therefore, President Jones will host a Virtual Infinite Scholars College Fair, November 9-13, from 4-8 pm each evening. This virtual event will feature over 70 colleges and universities providing “onsite” college admission, scholarships and information to local graduating seniors via individual, facilitated digital meetings utilizing the Zoom platform. Each day will include a different set of colleges and universities.
