There will be a tour of t-shirts that have been signed by Detroit Public School students and Catholic school  alumni beginning April 2014.  T-Shirts with pictures of Detroit Public Schools will be on display with signatures from school alumni on the t-shirt.  Many famous people went to Detroit public schools and catholic schools. This exhibit is designed to show that.
The t-shirts will be encased in glass and will be a part of a travelling exhibit.

Do You Love To Read To Others?



The Detroit Public Schools (DPS) has a Volunteer Reading Program. The reading is done during the day.. Anyone can apply but each person will be fingerprinted and a background check will be done at the expense of the Detroit Public Schools. Once the application is completed, the applicant can request a certain DPS school or they will be assigned to one. Read to a child today.
