In preparation for the Michigan State Housing Development Authority’s fall Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) round, the City of Detroit’s Housing and Revitalization Department (HRD) is accepting requests for upcoming projects in Detroit to receive LIHTC and Payment In Lieu of Taxes (PILOT) Support Letters. 

If you are interested, please upload the following information in the form here:

• Project Narrative
• Investment Criteria / Market Area Information
• Pro forma(s) – 2 are needed if the project is a 4%/9%
• LIHTC Self-Score

Please submit this information by Friday, September 17th. Letters will be processed in the order received. If information is emailed rather than submitted using the abovementioned form, your support letter will be delayed.

If HRD has not met with your team about the project, please coordinate a 30-minute meeting with Ms. Denise Jackson (JacksonDe@detroitmi.gov).

If HRD met with your team about the July 2021 NOFA, there is no need to schedule another meeting.
