Temperatures are Dropping and #DetroitRec is Here to Support!
Three overnight warming centers are open now through March 31. These centers provide two meals, showers, sleeping accommodations, and housing assistance for residents experiencing homelessness.
To access these warming centers, residents should call 866-313-2520 from 8am – 6pm Monday – Friday.
Veterans seeking shelter should call from 8am – 4:30pm.
Detroit Parks & Recreation has respite locations at Detroit recreation centers (open during normal operating hoursONLY):
